Cocoa Poker is a video poker game for Mac OS X. It has been around in one form or another since shortly after OS X 10.0 was released but it was only foisted upon the unwashed masses sometime in October 2002.

The game is fairly simple to play: set your preferences (there are many options that can be set by the user, see the screenshots page for more info), decide how much you want to bet and press the 'Deal' button. Then take a look at your cards and decide which, if any, cards you would like to trade in for new ones and click the 'Draw' button. If your hand is as good as or better than the (user-definable) lowest paying pair then you win a (user-definable) multiple of your bet. It could be as low as just getting your bet back or as high as your bet times 1000. That's the gist of it, so if that sounds like something you'd enjoy, why not download it?
