Have you ever wondered what it would be like to plan and build your own city? Do you enjoy a good time management game? If you answered yes to either of those questions, Be Richer is the game for you.
Fast, Frenetic Time Management Action
At first, the game seems to be rather laid back and relaxed, but things quickly kick into high gear the moment you own more properties.
In Be Richer, you are responsible for the construction of new buildings or the acquisition of existing ones, and as soon as you're the owner, the needs of the people living in those buildings become something you need to address.
Just like in real life, people are happiest if they have access to a grocery store, and maybe a restaurant or two. As the mastermind of this city, you are responsible for making it happen. Careful planning is key!
Don't expect to have your construction crew throw together a building and then be done with it, because repairs are common. As your population grows, roads crack and wear down and they must be maintained.
Also, you must remember that people are happiest living in a place that is beautiful in addition to functional; adding some tasteful foliage or a park does a lot to beautify the place.
Do Whatever You Want, Whenever You Want
Be Richer never tells you what to do. It will provide guidance, but that's it. So if it's a clear space, you can build a house there, period.
This total freedom really sets this game apart from others. You may bulldoze any obstacles that get in the way of your grand vision, and you may even purchase buildings only to demolish them in order to make room for whatever you have planned.
Click Quickly to Gather Special Bonuses
As the amount of buildings you own rises, so do the perks. If you have placed a grocery store or restaurant nearby, the houses will occasionally give special cash bonuses.
These bonuses disappear if they aren't collected promptly, and they can be quite large. Initially, it's no big thing to collect them all, but it becomes quite the challenge in a sprawling landscape!
Hire and Fire
As the CEO of your own company, you call all the shots. Better employees are unlocked as players advance through the game, but hiring such talent is going to cost you.
Two Play Modes
This game offers two modes, career and sandbox. In career mode, there are set objectives handed down by the game; you may accomplish them however you want, but the requirements must be met in order to advance. This gives a more structured gameplay experience that you will probably appreciate.
However, sandbox mode is not without its charms, and it will be a source of hours of fun once unlocked. Sandbox is exactly what it's name implies and there is no guidance from the game at all in this mode.
Be Richer is a must play time management experience!
