The goal of each level is to make all of the gold squares disappear by making groups of three or more like tiles on top of the gold squares before time runs out. You can earn useful power-ups like lightning that clears out all tiles of one design or dynamite that clears out all tiles in a three-tile radius.

You earn a cash reward at the end of each level and you can use this to shop for fun aquarium accessories. You can buy exotic fish like seahorses, plants to beautify the tank or accessories like an automatic feeder to make the tank more comfortable for the fish. Once you've filled up the three gauges for fish, beauty and comfort, you'll earn a new tank.
