There is something deeply appealing about games that involve farming and production, and what could be better than pairing a farming game with a time management game? Fisher's Family Farm is an addicting blend of farming, tending and time management gameplay elements that will provide hours of fun and enjoyment for players of any age.
Keep a Sharp Eye Out
You'll be kept you on your toes as you fend off predators and keep your school of fish content and happy. Blink and you might miss an oncoming pelican swooping down to pluck one of your fish from the pond!
Keeping all of your machines going and your fish protected and fed at the same time is quite the challenge.
You start from the ground up and have to purchase and upgrade equipment throughout the game. Everything from a machine that processes fillets to a machine that churns out store ready fishcakes is available.
Predators are an annoyance at times, but they turn a pretty penny if you sell them. This makes buying those upgrades easier.
If you like your time management games to have a storyline, Fisher's Family Farm is just the ticket.
The story begins with Marissa Fisher going home to give her parents' a much overdue visit. When she arrives, the atmosphere of despair around the once flourishing fish farm is palpable, and she immediately demands to know what's going on.
Her parents finally tell her that the fish farm that has belonged to their family for generations is nearing financial ruin because the fish are up and disappearing from the ponds without a trace. With the fish vanishing, it's impossible to turn a profit.
Marissa Fisher does what any good daughter would do and sets out to save her parents' farm!
Keep Fish as Pets
If you're balking at the idea of having to kill the cute fish in this game, fear not. In Fisher's Family Farm, the fish aren't actually killed, and meat is gathered from the fish like wool would be collected from sheep. This is a relief because the fish in this game are adorable and expressive with sweet faces and big eyes.
No fish were harmed in the making of this game!
Lots of Levels
You will love this game's replay value! 5 different areas boast ten levels each for a total of fifty levels in all. Do you have what it takes to get an expert score on them all?
