Message from the Glider Pro Developer
"Since Casady & Greene Inc. went bankrupt, the rights to the game Glider have reverted to me, the author. To that end, Glider PRO and Glider 4.0 are now free and I am giving them away for free download on this web page. Casady and Greene were a wonderful company and I am sorry to see them pass into Macintosh history.
Glider PRO for Mac OS X is a 3 megabyte disk image. If you click below to download it, a disk image will download and mount on your Desktop. Drag Glider Pro and the Houses folder to where you wish to place them on your computer.
Glider PRO for Mac OS X does not have a house editor (it was never ported to OS X). The Mac OS 9 version is still the only way to create new Glider PRO houses (sorry).
Glider PRO for Mac OS 9 is a 1.7 megabyte .sit (Stuff-It) file. When it is downloaded you will want to copy Glider PRO and the Houses folder to where you wish on your computer.
Glider PRO for Mac OS 9 does have the built-in house editor. Also, the OS 9 version will run just fine on Mac OS 8. It might even run on System 7....
The extra houses, if you download them, are compressed Stuff-It files (Houses 1 is 3.8 megabytes and Houses 2 is 2.5 megabytes). So that Glider PRO sees the new houses, you will have to copy the contents into Glider PRO's Houses folder on your hard drive.
A serial number for Glider PRO is included. And it is here: GL3-445-557-08100"
