A new Hidden Object game is doing the rounds, and Midnight Mysteries 2: Salem Witch Trials is sure to become a frightening favorite with children and adult gamers alike.
Join Nathaniel Hawthorne's ghost - eerily depicted in transparent silver graphics - as he battles to find out the truth about both the passing of his earthly body and the seriously sinister Salem witch trials where the main question seems to be whether or not the accused witches are even guilty. In life, Hawthorne was an author who wrote such wonderfully creepy stories as The House of the Seven Gables and Young Goodman Brown, and many of his fictional creations have found their way into this deliciously dark game. Players will get to learn about Goodman Brown and explore that seven-gabled house while earning Achievements by completing tasks that have been given such intriguing names as Golden Greek, Scaredy Cat and Thick Skull.
Apart from Hawthorne and Goodman Brown, gamers will also meet a diverse group of characters that include president Abraham Lincoln and well known Salem-based witch Sarah Good and will have to deal with such enticingly evil artifacts as the serpent cane, the scythe-like scalpel and the mysterious Morse code book. The ghoulish game is also teeming with animals, and players get to dodge wolves, ravens and, of course, black cats, while also having to deal with slippery salamanders and creepy earthworms.
Those who play Midnight Mysteries 2: Salem Witch Trials can also look forward to grappling with first rate puzzles, and activities such as finding Hawthorne's grave, fighting the effects of the love potion and following the ghosts around Gallows Hill may tax players to the limit and beyond. Filled with fiendishly fun effects and frightfully feral graphics, this is one game that no-one will want to miss.
